Love Bathroom Remodels

I love bathroom remodels.  Making something new and inviting is so exciting. We worked for a lovely couple on their bathroom, a total gut and remodel project. Here are some before pictures. It is a smaller space but still lots to work with! The walls had lathe and plaster on them. So the customer actually gained 1 1/2 inches on all sides of the room! 

Once we gutted the room we were ready to begin.  It was fun working with the customers on creating this space! Deciding what feel they wanted the room to have and the mood they wanted to set.

Here is a movie Brittany and I created during the demolition process! Don't laugh too hard at us we were a mess!

In the process pictures...The vaulted ceilings make the room feel much larger. A beautiful addition!

The final product is absolutely beautiful! Something I would love to create in my own home. The tile was smooth and classic, the heated floors a definite plus! The new tub was upgraded to a tub/shower combo. The vanity is probably the center piece for this room, it is stunning. 

Mid November and Working Outside!

In the middle of November we were still having a few warm days! What a great day to work on a double porch house. The upper porch was severely sloping down causing a huge potential hazard. It was fun rebuilding both porches and having Brittany there for support! 

Fun Remodeling

Demolition is always so much fun! You get to break stuff and get dirty! Who wouldn't like to do that! We are very excited to be working on a bathroom remodel for a LCS school family! Their dream of a beautiful bathroom is a joy for us to put into reality. Below are some pictures of the progress and a short video about the demo. And as always it was fun to work with Kevin again! Just don't laugh at us too hard!

   

Spring Means Rain!

It has been a wet May! In fact it has rained 35 days in 2015. 13 of those days has been in May! Hopefully this means no drought this summer!!

We have still been working away regardless of the rain! We love outdoor work and we won't melt! Here is the proud owner of KevLar Home Improvement with his rain boots on working on a deck last week! We have more landscaping and outdoor work ahead! Stay tuned for pictures on our finished projects!

A Peaceful Getaway

     As the birds chirp, the air warms and the flowers bloom, we find ourselves searching for an escape. As a family we love the outdoors! Our favorite projects for our customers has to be landscaping, building decks, fences and pergolas. Creating a space outdoors for our customers has so many rewards. We know that when that space is complete our customers have an oasis or a place to entertain guests! What a great way to escape the stresses of daily life. Finding a happy place in your back yard! We find inspiration in a lot of places recently we have researched and fallen in love with Chip and Joanna Gaines. Their style and characteristics are FUN! TILE, TILE, TILE

Wow! What a crazy month it has been! We have done several tile projects and had so much fun with them! We are finishing up with the indoor projects and gearing up to move outside!!
